Ali James has been practising yoga for over twenty years, after injuring her back.

Understanding the incredible benefits, she is now a movement enhancement specialist, using yoga and other training to help people gain (or regain) better flexibility, range of motion, strength and performance and to prevent/rehabilitate from injury - whether they are elite athletes or normal folk, who just want to maintain an active lifestyle whatever their age or disability.

Qualifying in a particularly rigorous Yoga Alliance YTT200 hrs course, with Waking Minds Yoga, she also has an accredited Certificate in The Science of Teaching Yoga to Athletes from The Institute of Yoga Sports Science and is a qualified Corrective Exercise Specialist from NASM. She concentrates mainly on private client work, but can offer small group classes, workshops, retreats and other bespoke sessions.

Working with Ali over the last couple of months has been brilliant!  Incorporating sport specific yoga routines into warm-ups and cool downs has without a doubt improved my performance and made be less susceptible to injuries.  Ali has worked 1:1 and programmed me to improve specific areas: for me hips and shoulders!  I would recommend any athletes from any sport to see what Ali can do for you!
