YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Ali James uses her years of yoga teaching and experience to help people move better. From sportspeople & athletes, to office workers & people who are recovering from injury or joint-replacement.

I believe that yoga isn’t contortion or a belief system, but a fundamental investment in gaining better, pain-free mobility, enhanced performance, greater flexibility and increased strength, wherever people are in their lives.

I'm happy to work with a group, or an individual wishing to invest in better movement long-term.

PROPERLY TRAINED IN ANATOMY

Having trained with a physiotherapist and passed further qualifications in sports yoga and corrective exercise, I place anatomy and natural postural alignment at the front and centre of my teaching.

OFFERING A VARIETY OF CLASSES

I offer regular office & chair yoga classes, one-off sessions for team away-days and retreats, and tailored 1:1 sessions for sportspeople and athletes, who need to build strength & flexibility, be more resistant to injury, and reach their performance goals.

FUN AND ACCESSIBLE APPROACH

I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds in a bespoke, case-by-case way, to truly understand their individual or team requirements, applying my training and experience in a way that is accessible and fun, allowing people to reap multiple benefits in a timeframe that suits them.

“Ali is just the tonic for a hunched-up, be-frazzled, and tense office worker.  After her sessions, I can slide into work with my head held high, my back supported and my feet firmly planted on the ground.  I am grounded and reset.  There is no need to embarrass yourself trying to pretzel into position and she always offers alternative options.”
